FIRE International is the missionary sending arm of FIRE Church
and FIRE School of Ministry (FSM) and is located in Concord, North Carolina. (See
links for further information) At this time we have missionaries who are serving
in full time service to their field of choice. We are also establishing bases in
various countries of the world in conjunction with veteran missionaries currently
on the field. These bases will be used not only for full time missionaries, but
also for extended cross-cultural training for missionary interns. These bases are
used as launching points for future church planting as the new missionaries and
interns mature. We are continually involved in evangelism, discipleship, orphanages
and feeding programs, as well as church planting.
FIRE International serves committed
men and women who exalt Jesus Christ as Lord by impacting this entire generation
with the fire of revival by raising up an army of radical, Spirit-baptized laborers
committed to taking the gospel of Jesus to the ends of the earth - By Life Or By
Death.
FIRE International is governed by
a Board of Directors. (See leadership/staff for more information) They are accountable
to each other and to FIRE Church as well as each member being accountable to and
ordained by the local churches that send them out to do the work of the ministry.
Dr. William E. (Josh) Peters is the Vice President and General Director
of FIRE International. He is also a faculty member of FSM. He has worked as a resident
missionary both in Malaysia and Indonesia. For seven years, he was the Assistant
Director of Globe Missionary Evangelism in Pensacola, Florida, during which time
he traveled to over 20 nations of the world overseeing missionaries. He brings successful
experience to the table, from both the side of the missionary and the side of management.
He is responsible for placement, training and oversight of the missionaries on the
field as well as the home base operations.
We strive for excellence and integrity, as we truly care about the
life, the welfare, and success of our missionaries. We are thankful for the call
of God on their lives and we are thankful for all who will partner with them.
FIRE International is recognized as a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization
by the Internal Revenue Service and is incorporated in the State of Florida.
FIRE International
is pleased to be a part of ECFA, the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.
In order to maintain membership in this organization, we undergo an annual outside
audit of our financial records and fill out a renewal application. This must be
done on a yearly basis and they do re-evaluate us each year. We joined this organization
so you, our contributors, will know that we hold your contributions with respect
and want all to be done with excellence and in accordance with the law.
