Phil and Emma lead the Fire team in Crewe, England. They have been there since 2002 and have recently started a church plant, Hope Church. Crewe is a former railway town and is looked down upon even by its residents! The team is passionate about reaching people with the love of Jesus and discipling those who get saved.

The team works in schools and colleges, sharing Jesus love with young people who mostly know nothing about God, running donut clubs and teaching lessons. In a country with a rich revival history, England is now seen as ‘post-Christian’, with most people having never heard the gospel. What an opportunity to tell people for the first time that there is a God who loves them! The team reaches out to the unsaved in any way possible, through street witness, tea and coffee outreach, meals, barbecues and alpha courses.

Phil and Emma’s desire is to see God’s kingdom come in their town and beyond. They want to see lives impacted with the Jesus’ love. Please pray for a fresh outpouring of God’s Spirit to touch this town and nation, that God’s name would be honored again!
