The Father’s Heart Ministry (FHM) started back in 2005 and is totally based on God’s Word in Matthew 25:34-40. In short what these verses state is that we are to minister to the needy of the world. That is what Carol and I, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, are doing here in Israel.

The ministry first started with what we call the “Loaves and Fishes Ministry”. This is an outreach to the drug addicts, alcoholics and other needy people living on the streets of Haifa. Here we not only bring them the physical food which they need, but we also share the Spiritual Food; the Word of God through various means. The next outreach of the FHM is in a home/school for 60 severely handicapped children, which we call “Abba’s Arms”(Daddy’s Arms). In this outreach Carol and I share the Love of Father God by playing with them and holding them as the representatives of the Father’s Arms of Love. Most of these children have been abandoned and forgotten. But one thing is for sure, Father God hasn’t forgotten them and neither will we.

The third part of the FHM is to the elderly in a Believers (Christian) retirement home. In this outreach we visit some of the residents, and just share the Love of Father God with these precious saints. Here also most of them have been forgotten. Except for the fine staff at the home they have no one else to care for them in a Loving manner. The next outreach that we are a part of is at a soup kitchen/food and clothing distribution center in Netanya. In this ministry we get between 30-50 needy people who come for a hot meal and warm fellowship which we and the other volunteers provide. We have been a part of this ministry for a little over a year now and for most of that time Carol has been making them wonderful desserts with the funds that our supporters supply. Many of those who have been served through this outreach are now attending Shabbat Service (Church).
