Eric and Casey Miller are based in Davao City, Philippines. Their vision comes from Isaiah 61:4 which says: “They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations”. Rebuilding and restoring lives & communities that have been forgotten, & devastated by sin, Eric & Casey desire to live out the great commandment and the great commission by being a light in the midst of such needs. They have a passion for the love of God and a passion for discipleship. Eric and Casey are part of the FIRE International Base that is there, which includes 14 other FIRE missionaries. The Millers have been serving in the Philippines since 2003.

Presently, the team has established the following ministries:

* A local church in Davao City with its own building in a slum area called Agdao. This church is a 2 year old church plant that is maturing and growing in the Lord. Presently, the church uses cell groups as a strategy to evangelize, encourage community, & also train & release the body into the priesthood of all believers.

* Another local church 35 minutes outside of Davao in the area of New Carmen. They started two separate Bible studies in a garbage dump, which eventually became this church. It has grown into a community of believers where close to 50 homes have been built, as well as a local church and a school for children. Presently, different agricultural projects are in the works to help this community become completely self-supportive,

* One more local church 3 hours outside of Davao in the city of Malita. In a small fishing village this other church was planted by the team where new believers are growing in the love of God and where a new building was built for the local church.

* Relationships in other Asian countries like Japan, Thailand, & Cambodia to which the Millers believe they will send Filipinos as missionaries.
