Sherika Lockhart

Sherika is a recent graduate of FIRE School of Ministry who moved to the Philippines in April 2011. Her heart is to be a part of the community there and to help start a work called Hope for All Children. Hope for All Children is an outreach focused on helping orphans, feeding children, rescuing potential aborted children, and exposing the truth about human trafficking.

How do you like living and working in the Philippines? I’ve been here for just under a year now and absolutely love it. The Filipino people are great – very open and friendly (with a few caveats – in some areas they think of foreigners as walking ATM cards – like in Manila or Angeles City). I planned to stay for a year, and am working on extending my stay for another year! Good luck to you, and Merry Christmas!
