Missionaries Ron & Michelle Smith - Reaching Peru with Food and the Gospel

We have received our first shipment of 43,000 pounds of vitamin rich, dehydrated rice meals to feed to the malnourished children of Peru. One portion of food a day provides all the vitamins and minerals needed for an entire day. We use the food to physically feed the hungry children while also feeding their spirits with the gospel of Jesus. Our vision is to build a manufacturing plant in Lima. This would enable us to cut the cost of shipping the food, while also helping the economy by providing jobs to some of the local people. The cost to receive one shipment of food is approximately $7,000.00. We would receive one shipment every 3-4 months. As of now, we are sending out 12,000 meals per month. For the start-up of a manufacturing plant, it would cost $50,000.00. Please consider if God would have you partner with FIRE PERU to reach the children of this nation. The food is simply our tool to have contact with the poor and hurting children.
