The Agdao Dream Center in Davao, Philippines is a place where broken people are healed and forgotten dreams are revived, meeting practical needs while raising up self-sufficient leaders and agents of change.
A place known for hopelessness - but God had a different vision.
Agdao is a community in Davao, Philippines where people end up because they are poor.
The name itself comes from a plant used to cure convulsions - and in the Filipino Bagobo tribe, it means "elder." To those who live there, it is a place of broken dreams and a poverty mindset that is passed from one generation to the next. The Lord highlighted Agdao to Eric and Casey Miller and saw something different: a place of opportunity waiting for people willing to take a step of faith.
The Agdao Dream Center is their answer to that need. The vision goes beyond feeding programs, though the Faith Promise Feeding Program will operate out of the center. It goes beyond a church, though large gatherings and FIRE School of Ministry will meet there. The Dream Center is designed to be a self-sustaining hub that transforms lives from the inside out: classrooms, dormitories, offices, a Christian school, a call center, and income-generating businesses all under one roof. A multipurpose basketball court will serve as the heart of the facility, hosting church gatherings, community events, and generating rental income to sustain the ministry long-term.
The goal is to raise up children and families who become self-supportive dreamers, developing practical skills, building businesses, and becoming carriers of of the Gospel in Davao, the Philippines, and beyond.
