FIRE International is located just outside Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina, currently we have missionaries who are serving full time in their field of choice. We are also establishing bases in various countries of the world in conjunction with veteran missionaries currently on the field. These bases will be used not only for full time missionaries, but also for extended cross-cultural training for missionary interns. These bases are used as launching points for future church planting as the new missionaries and interns mature. We are continually involved in evangelism, discipleship, orphanages and feeding programs, anti trafficking, as well as church planting.

Dr. William E. (Josh) Peters is the founder and General Director of FIRE International and has served as General Director for FIRE International for 27 years, during which he has traveled to more than 40 nations of the world.
Dr. Peters served as an instructor at the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry and has worked as a resident missionary both in Malaysia and Indonesia. For seven years, he was the assistant director of Globe Missionary Evangelism in Pensacola, Florida, during which time he traveled to over 20 nations of the world overseeing missionaries. He brings successful experience to the table, from both the side of the missionary and the side of management.
Dion Light serves as the Executive Director of FIRE International. He provides pastoral guidance to the missionaries as well as oversees the day-to-day operations. After returning from Poland in 2003, Dion has been serving at the home base with a passion to see radical worshippers of Jesus comprehend the supremacy of God in missions and become equipped to embrace the Lord’s call to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
Dr. Peters and Dion are responsible for placement, training and oversight of the missionaries on the field as well as the home base operations.

Vision
Statement Of Faith
The Scriptures
The Bible Is The Inspired Word Of God, The Product Of Holy Men Of Old Who Spoke And Wrote As They Were Moved By The Holy Spirit. We Accept The Holy Bible, As Recorded In The Old And New Testament, As God’s Infallible Word, The Ultimate Authority In Matters Pertaining To Conduct And Doctrine. (2 Timothy 3:15-16, 1 Peter 1:23-25, 2 Peter 1:19-21)
The Godhead
Our God Is One, But Manifested In Three Persons – The Father, The Son, And The Holy Spirit Being Equal. (Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19, Philippians 2:6)
Man, His Fall and Redemption
Man Is A Created Being Made In The Likeness And In The Image Of God, But Through Adam’s Transgression And Fall, Sin Came Into The World (Romans 5:12). “All Have Sinned And Come Short Of The Glory Of God” (Romans 3:23). “As It Is Written, There Is None Righteous, No Not One” (Romans 3:10). Jesus Christ, The Son Of God Was Manifested To Undo The Work Of The Devil And Gave His Life And Shed His Blood To Redeem And Restore Man Back To God (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Eternal Life and New Birth
Man’s First Step Toward Salvation Is Godly Sorrow That Works Repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10). The New Birth Is Necessary To All Men (John 3:3-5), And When Fulfilled, Produces Eternal Life (1 John 5:12). Salvation Is A Gift From God Received By Grace Through Faith. (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Holy Spirit Baptism
We Believe That The Baptism In The Holy Spirit, Primarily Evidenced By Speaking With Other Tongues As The Spirit Gives Utterance, Is For All Believers As Promised By John The Baptist (Mat 3:11), Jesus (Acts 1:4, 5, 8), And Peter (Acts 2:38-41) And As Witnessed By The Early Disciples Of The Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 2:1-4; Acts 8:12-19; 10:44-46; 19:1-6).
We Believe The Holy Spirit To Be The Third Person Of The Trinity Whose Purpose In The Redemption Of Man Is To Convict Men Of Sin, Regenerate, Indwell, And Guide The Believer Into All Truth, And Give Gifts To Believers As He Wills, That They May Minister As Christ Would, To Men. We Believe Any Believer That Yields To The Holy Spirit Should Experience The Manifestations Of All The Spiritual Gifts Mentioned In (1 Corinthians 12:8-10, Luke 11:13; John 7:37-39, 14:16, 17, 16:7-14; Acts 2:39-48).
Sanctification
The Bible Teaches That Without Holiness No Man Can See The Lord (Hebrews 12:14). We Believe In The Doctrine Of Sanctification As A Definite, Yet Progressive Work Of Grace, Commencing At The Time Of Regeneration And Continuing Until The Consummation Of Salvation (1 Thessalonians 5:23; 1Peter 3:18; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Philippians 3:12-14, And 1 Corinthians 1:30).
Divine Healing
While We Believe That God Uses Doctors, Medicines, And Other Material Means For Healing, We Also Believe That Divine Healing Is Provided In The Atonement (Isaiah 53:5) And May Be Appropriated By Laying On Of Hands By Elders (James 5:14-16) Or By Believers (Mark 16:18), By The Prayers Of Any Believer Gifted For Healing The Sick (I Corinthians 12:9), Or By A Direct Act Of Receiving This Provision By Faith (Mark 11:23).
Resurrection of the Believers and the return of the Lord
We Believe In The Physical, Bodily Return Of The Lord Jesus Christ. The Angels Said, “This Same Jesus Shall So Come In Like Manner” (Acts 1:11). His Coming Is Imminent. When He Comes, “The Dead In Christ Shall Rise First; Then We Which Are Alive And Remain Shall Be Caught Up Together With Them In The Clouds, To Meet The Lord In The Air…” (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 1:7)
Hell and Eternal Retribution
We Believe That The Scriptures Clearly Set Forth The Doctrines Of Eternal Punishment For The Lost And Eternal Life For The Saved (Matthew 25:34, 41, 46; John 14:1-3; Revelation 20:11-15).
The One Who Physically Dies In His Sins Without Christ Is Hopelessly And Eternally Lost In The Lake Of Fire And, Therefore, Has No Further Opportunity Of Hearing The Gospel Or For Repentance (Hebrews 9:27). The Terms “Eternal” And “Ever-Lasting”, Used In Describing The Duration Of The Punishment Of The Damned (Matthew 25:41-46) In The Lake Of Fire, Carry The Same Thought And Meaning Of Endless Existence As Used In Denoting The Duration Of Joy And Ecstasy Of Saints In The Presence Of God.
After more than 22 years on the mission field with FI.. I can honestly say that they go beyond being an organization and are more of a family to us.
