World Changers Leadership Center
Denis and Arit Ekobena are equipping a generation of leaders in Yaoundé, Cameroon. through Bible training, church planting, and a vision to send missionaries across the world.
A Bible Institute. A Church. A Ministry School. And it's only getting started.
Denis attended FIRE School of Ministry while still single.
In North Carolina, he married Arit, a fellow Cameroonian - and in 2013, they moved back to Cameroon to plant their lives in the mission field. In 2014, they founded the FIRE Bible Institute. By 2015, a second school was open. A church was planted in the city. In 2017, they launched FIRE International Cameroon.
Their students don't just graduate - they often become teachers, church planters, and missionaries. Some feel called to nations beyond Cameroon, and they go, equipped and sent. The Ekobenas' heart is to see the Gospel spread through the people they've poured into.
Arit brings her training as a nurse practitioner into the ministry, caring for people's physical needs while ministering to their spirit. She also leads women's conferences, something new to Cameroon, with a vision to see women across the nation become bolder and more passionate in their faith.
The World Changers Leadership Center will bring all of this under one roof - a multipurpose hall, classrooms, housing and dormitories, a medical clinic, a library, an IT center, and an entrepreneurship and vocational training center. The projected cost is $1,000,000.
