Safe Haven Children's Home

Safe Haven Children's Home is located in the Philippines, caring for orphaned, abandoned, and neglected children and raising them to know the Lord and walk in their God-given destiny.

Every child deserves a home. Safe Haven is that home.

Trent and Amy Pruett have lived and served in the Philippines for over seven years, following a call to missions that began in 2006 in Thailand. The seed for Safe Haven was planted through the adoption of their daughter Liberty at age seven, a moment that opened their eyes to the number of older children with nowhere to go. After age six, many children in the Philippines end up on the streets, vulnerable to every form of abuse. According to local government, one in twenty children is orphaned, abandoned, or neglected.

Safe Haven exists to meet that need. Children receive shelter, water, food, medical and dental care, education, and daily protection. But it goes deeper than meeting physical needs. Every child who enters Safe Haven is met with prayer, a care plan developed with a social worker, and a Christ-centered education tailored to where they are. The staff lives on the property, creating a genuine family atmosphere, acting as mothers and fathers to children who have never had that stability.

The vision is transformation. The goal is not just survival but wholeness, breaking the cycle of abuse, neglect, and shame, and replacing it with confidence, responsibility, and an understanding of who God made each child to be.
