Swallow's Nest Project
Assisting at-risk children and families around the world - one child at a time.
Over 100 children cared for. More than 90 placed into forever families through adoption. And the mission is still going.
In 2003, Pam and Clay Williams were living overseas when they found a newborn baby girl abandoned at their gate. They provided the surgery she needed, gained permission from local authorities to foster her, and eventually adopted her as their own. That moment changed everything. Two years later they founded Swallow's Nest and began welcoming more children into their home, and what started as one family opening their doors became a nonprofit that has now touched the lives of over 100 children, with more than 90 finding forever families through adoption.
Though policy changes in China eventually forced their original home to close in December 2023, the mission never stopped. Swallow's Nest now operates as a private nonprofit providing assistance to at-risk children and their families across eleven countries including Nepal, Thailand, Ukraine, the Philippines, Nigeria, and Burma. Through close partnerships with trusted overseas teams, Pam and Clay continue to steward this work from the United States, making sure that children who have no one still find someone who fights for them.
