About

Raising Disciples and Servant Leaders in the Heart of Africa.

We are proudly serving in the heart of Africa (Yaounde, Cameroon. Central Africa Region). In December 2013, we left the USA to serve in the Cameroons. We have a passion to see the Word of God spread throughout the nations and raise radical disciples and servant leaders who are consumed by the love of Christ. The core of our message is to challenge every believer to have an intimate relationship with God the Father. We started by planting a Bible School (FIRE Bible Institute), and then a few years later we planted FIRE Church Yaoundé, where we currently serve as senior leaders.



Arit has a passion for Medical Missions, Education for all children, and a strong belief in empowering women to fulfill their destiny in Christ. As a Nurse Practitioner, Arit has a great career in Healthcare; from Duke Hospital in Durham to Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.

Projects

Accomplishments since our arrival:

Since arriving in Cameroon in 2013, Denis and Arit have devoted over a decade to planting, building, and equipping the next generation of leaders in Central Africa.

Opened 3 bible schools in

Yaoundé, Douala, and Bokito.

Our goal is to raise a new generation of servant leaders, who are ready to change the world for the Lord.

graduated almost 500

ministry-trained students

Nearly 500 students have completed their training through FIRE Bible Institute. Being equipped, sent, and now serving in churches, ministries, and communities across Cameroon and beyond.

Planted numerous churches

Denis and Arit have helped plant  churches across Cameroon, and currently serve as senior leaders of FIRE Church Yaoundé - a congregation focused on reaching those hurt by the church, the unchurched, and the international community in Yaoundé.

overseen health campaigns

Utilizing Arit's expertise in the field, we have conducted a number of medical missions across villages and cities in Cameroon, partnering with doctor friends from the US to provide healthcare, donate medications, and distribute clothing to those in need.

annual healing and Revival evangelistic campaign

We host a healing and revival evangelistic campaign that gathers thousands of people - believing God to move in power and bring lasting transformation to our region.

supporting orphanages and widows.

We provide ongoing support to widows and orphanages in Yaoundé and the surrounding villages - meeting practical needs and reflecting the love of Christ to the most vulnerable.

annual leadership conferences

Through their World Changers Leadership Summit, Denis brings together leaders from across Africa and beyond, communicating principles of servant leadership and equipping a new generation to change their world.

Purpose

Raising up the next generation of believers to combat false teachings.

By 2050, Africa's population will double, and so will the spread of false teaching. Denis and Arit are not waiting. Through FIRE Bible Institute and FIRE Church Yaoundé, they are training a generation of grounded, Spirit-filled leaders who know the Word, know their God, and are ready to lead Cameroon and the nations into a bright future.

Transforming Ordinary People Into Great Leaders.

Denis Ekobena is the founder and president of the African Leadership Development Center and a leadership conference speaker who has communicated his principles across Africa and America through his World Changers Leadership Summit. He is also a gifted songwriter, composer, and the author of multiple books including A People After God and The Emerging Leader.
