About

Healing Hearts and Healing Homes.

We have been devoted to the mission of healing hearts and healing homes. We provide Gospel resources to strengthen marriages, families, and church communities. We do this through life-on-life discipleship, relationship coaching, podcasts, and traveling preaching/teaching. We are involved in speaking at FamilyLife’s Weekend to Remember marriage conferences throughout the year. FamilyLife offers over 150 Weekend to Remember events per year, hosting over 100,000 people annually across the U.S. and around the world. Our heart is to see couples and families living in unity and the fullness God has for them.

The Project

CD and Melody are actively developing new avenues and resources to extend their reach, bringing the message of Jesus to more couples, families, and communities across the nation.

Hanging with the fabiens podcast

Their podcast is a platform for honest, faith-filled conversations about marriage, relationships, manhood, womanhood, and living with purity and purpose. Known for humor and transparency, CD and Melody use episodes to bring Godly truth into everyday life.

book publishing

CD and Melody are working toward publishing books that put their decades of coaching, teaching, and lived experience into the hands of individuals and couples who need it most. Melody has already published a devotion in the ESV Urban Devotional Bible and written devotions for One Hope.

CD’s Mental Health Counseling Master’s Degree

CD is pursuing a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling to deepen his ability to serve couples and families facing complex emotional and relational challenges.

Purpose

Spreading the Gospel Through Discipleship and Counseling.

CD and Melody know firsthand what God can do with a broken story. Since exchanging vows in 2008, they have openly shared their testimony, and it has become one of their most powerful ministry tools. Revelation 12:11 reminds us that we "overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony." This is how CD and Melody operate - using what the Lord has done in their lives to lift up families in need, bring Godly insight into difficult situations, and point couples back to Christ. Their story has been featured on Fox News, CNN, the Chicago Tribune, and the Chicago Sun-Times, continuing to open doors for the gospel everywhere they go.
