Bringing the Kingdom of God to the Netherlands.
Matthias and Marlisa Glastra live in the Netherlands with their daughter and son, whom they homeschool. They have served as leaders in FIRE Church in the Netherlands and FIRE School of Ministry Europe for over ten years. Matthias and Marlisa are now working together alongside other FI families in the Netherlands, the Deelstra’s and the Joustra’s. As a team they planted King’s Church in August 2022. Matthias serves as an elder and board member. Both their administrative skills are being put to use in all sorts of ways to serve the church and be a blessing.
The church meets regularly for worship, prayer and intercession, pursuing Gods presence and interceding for the Rotterdam area as well as the Netherlands. They long to see Gods glory increase in their local church as well as in the area they are planted and in the nation. There is a great need for God to move powerfully in a country that is far from God, in which many people have left the faith, where there is a lot of confusion and deception. People need to know the truth, experience Gods love and Gods design for family.
Purpose
To See the Body of Christ Reach Her Full Potential.
Currently Matthias and Marlisa are being trained with Restoring the Foundations Ministry to help the body of Christ walk and live in the freedom Jesus Christ has purposed them to live in, through freedom from generational sins and curses, replacing ungodly beliefs for Gods truth, to provide healing from hurt and by bringing freedom from demonic oppression.
There are many opportunities to serve in the Rotterdam area; to the children, the elderly, the poor and broken. And they have a heart to see that grow and expand in the future, bringing the love and truth of Jesus to the area, changing lives and bringing restoration.

King's Church
We strive to love God and people and are a community that enjoys the goodness of King Jesus, His love, His presence and strength in our meetings. We are a Bible-based and Spirit-filled church that wants to follow Jesus as His disciples. We believe and see that the Gospel of Jesus changes human lives. We also believe in the need for revival and revival in people's hearts. And we think family and family are very important in walking out of a life with God.
