About
They Gave Up Everything, But Have No Regrets.
Trent and Amy Pruett spent most of their lives in business, finding success as top producers in real estate. They loved God and felt their role was to support missions financially, until a missions trip in 2004 changed everything. The Lord called them to the nations, and they willingly and joyfully gave up everything to follow Him to the foreign mission field. They began in Thailand, and since 2011 have been rooted in Davao, Philippines - giving their lives to the work the Lord placed in their hands.
Purpose
Feed the Hungry. Heal the Sick. Make Disciples. Reach the Unreached.
The Lord gave Trent and Amy a clear mandate for their time in the Philippines. They run feeding programs for the hungry, believe for healing through prayer and a future medical clinic, disciple the next generation through their internship program True North, and partner with and sponsor local Filipino missionaries reaching the Muslim community. At the center of it all is Safe Haven Children's Home, where Trent and Amy are based, taking care of the orphans and abandoned.
The Project
Safe Haven Children's Home
Safe Haven Children's Home exists to break the destructive cycle of abuse, neglect, and shame and replace it with an opportunity for each child to live a life of confidence, responsibility, and purpose in Christ. Founded by Trent and Amy Pruett in Davao, Philippines, Safe Haven cares for orphaned, abandoned, and severely neglected children providing shelter, food, water, medical care, education, and the daily love they have never known. Jeff and Nichole have returned to serve alongside this work, believing that every child deserves to know they are wanted, valued, and destined for more.
