About
Pastoring the Church and Blessing the Community in Okinawa, Japan.
Sasagu and Junko Yoda have been serving as pastors of Moriah Chapel in Okinawa, Japan since 2011, raising their two daughters Shion and Selah in the middle of active ministry. Their work centers on two things: the church and the community, believing that a healthy church should be a bright light not just within its walls but throughout the city around it.
Purpose
Redefining What the Church Can Be in Japan.
In a nation where less than 1% of the population is Christian, Sasagu and Junko are building something rare, a church that serves its community without condition. Partner with them to keep that light burning in Okinawa.

The Project
Canaan Care Center.
In 2017, Sasagu and Junko established Canaan Care Center, a general incorporated association in Okinawa designed to be a gathering place for locals of all ages and backgrounds, the young and the old, the strong and the weak, the well and the wounded. Through counseling, teaching, and training, they help believers rediscover their true identity in Christ and step into their God-given calling, watching that transformation ripple out into families, friendships, and the wider community.
