Zimmerman, Jeryl & Bethany

About

Fighting for the Freedom and Restoration of Women and Youth.

Bethany Zimmerman served as a missionary in the Philippines for eight years, where she helped launch a mentorship program at a ministry school and served as Academic Dean of Student Affairs at FIRE School of Ministry Philippines. She is a Certified Trauma Support Specialist and has served with ministries in red light districts across Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Brazil, and the United States. Jeryl serves as a chaplain in a local youth correctional facility, walking alongside at-risk youth with the love and truth of Jesus. Together they also travel to Queens, New York regularly to serve and encourage a local church body.

mission

Two Ministries. One Mission.

Bethany and Jeryl meet the vulnerable where they are - whether on the streets of Davao, inside correctional facilities, or walking alongside survivors. Your support helps them continue to do what they do.

The Project

Beauty for Ashes Philippines and Hope Inspire Love.

In 2015, Bethany founded Beauty for Ashes Philippines in Davao City, reaching out to women trapped in street prostitution through Bible studies, community connection, and livelihood development for them and their families. She also serves as Mentor Program Director at Hope Inspire Love in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, equipping women to mentor and walk alongside survivors ages 13 to 30. Hope Inspire Love educates churches, healthcare workers, students, and families about human trafficking, raises awareness at local markets with products made by survivors, and roasts coffee locally to help survivors build their resumes.
